After an early start (5.00 a.m.)  and a smooth transfer with Purple Parking we caught our Air New Zealand flight to Los Angeles . Broke my recently repaired glasses on the way. Some organised chaos got us on a shuttle to our hotel. You would think the USA could manage this with more efficiency!

The Biltmore Hotel is 1920s ornate edifice which used to count the Oscars as one of its main events.
