We set off for Auckland, travelling down the East coast although we do not see much of the sea. After a brief stop for a sandwich we eventually hit the rain and the Auckland traffic. Aren't sat navs wonderful? Tom Tom took us unerringly to the motorhome depot. The check in was quick and fuss free. They even got us a taxi.
We arrived at Sky City Hotel at the foot of the Sky Tower, New Zealand's tallest building.
We change and go for a lovely meal in a restaurant just across the road from the hotel.
Tomorrow we will explore Auckland before flying to Hong-Kong on Wednesday.
